The institute takes special measures to promote creativity and cultural consciousness among its students. The college has a very vibrant cultural life. Cultural events are organized round the year. The Institute promotes these activities for the overall personality development of the students. Fresher’s Welcome is celebrated with traditional gaiety at the beginning of every academic session.

The Annual Fest “AURA”, celebrated in the winter chill, brings about unique warmth within the campus life. The event presents plethora of events with cultural performance by the students; major attractions being Group Dance performance, Skits and Fashion Parade along-with poetry recital, classical and instrumental performances. The students through various cultural programmes are encouraged to respect tradition as well as appreciate modern trends.

Moreover, a weekly activity is conducted every Friday, popularly known among students as “Freaky Friday”, where students are encouraged to open up and play games, recite poetry, do fun quizzes, sing, dance and enjoy. It’s basically a fun activity where students chill out towards the end of the week.

The Eco-club of the Institute spreads awareness about the various challenges faced worldwide. Thursday is observed as Eco-day where the students and faculty wear a particular color and pledge for a cause. Such activities help us become more responsible and disciplined citizens.
Personal Grooming is cultivated among all through Group Discussions & Soft Skill development.

The college participates in various sports events organized at inter-collegiate and university level. The college Cricket team has earned laurels time and again in the university sports. Various Sports events include Annual Sports Meet of GGSIP Univ., Abhijeet Kadam Cricket Tournament, Table Tennis Championship, and Volleyball Championship. The Institute provides a healthy blend of indoor and outdoor sports activities which keep the mind and body fit.

SCS has always believed in integrating theoretical & practical knowledge and fostering hands on experience in the field of Computer Science; and Industrial interaction through Industrial visits prove highly beneficial in accomplishment of the same. Such activities enhance the problem solving capabilities and provide the participating students a better insight of the practical approach followed in the industry.
